Object Storage & File Storage.

Two different tools for two different needs — both hosted locally in Quincy, WA on Grant County's fiber. Same pricing tiers, your choice of which fits your workload.

🪣
S3-Compatible Object Storage

Object Storage

An S3-compatible API endpoint hosted locally. Drop-in replacement for AWS S3 — works with any tool or library that supports custom S3 endpoints. Best for applications, backups, and anything already using the S3 API.

  • S3-compatible API — buckets, objects, presigned URLs, multipart uploads
  • Works with boto3, aws-sdk, rclone, s3cmd, Veeam, Duplicati, Restic
  • Unlimited buckets on paid plans
  • Flat pricing — pay for storage capacity only
  • Sub-millisecond access from colocated or local network hardware
📁
SMB / NFS File Storage

File Storage

Traditional network file shares over SMB (Windows-compatible) or NFS (Linux/Unix). Mount a network drive from your server, workstation, or office — no application changes needed. Best for shared files, mapped drives, and workloads that need a standard filesystem.

  • SMB shares — mount as a network drive from Windows or macOS
  • NFS shares — mount on Linux servers and Unix workstations
  • Works without any application changes — just a mounted drive
  • Ideal for shared file access across multiple machines
  • Flat pricing — pay for storage capacity only

Local Storage for Real Workloads.

Whether you need an S3 endpoint for your app or a mapped drive for your office, local storage beats cloud when you're already on Grant County's fiber.

💾

Server Backups

Back up colocated or local servers over fiber — fast writes, fast restores. Works with any backup tool that supports S3 or SMB/NFS.

🗄️

Database Snapshots

Store database dumps and snapshots locally for fast restore times. Sub-millisecond access from colocated hardware via S3 or NFS mount.

🖼️

Media & Asset Storage

Images, video, documents — store and serve assets from an S3 endpoint or SMB share without paying AWS egress rates.

📦

Application Data

Drop-in S3 replacement for apps already using the AWS SDK. Update your endpoint URL and credentials — nothing else changes.

🗂️

Shared Office Files

Mount an SMB share as a network drive across your office or across colocated servers. Shared file access without a full NAS on-premise.

🏗️

Simple Pricing. No Surprises.

No request charges. No hidden costs. Same pricing tiers apply whether you're using object storage, file storage, or both. Pay for capacity — that's it.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Object storage (S3-compatible) is accessed via an API — your application or backup tool talks to an endpoint, stores and retrieves objects (files) using keys. It's ideal for apps, backups, and anything already using the AWS S3 API. File storage (SMB/NFS) works like a traditional network drive — you mount it on your server or workstation and it shows up as a folder. No application changes needed. If you're not sure which you need, just ask us.
Storage plans are priced flat by capacity — contact us for the current details on data transfer. This is different from AWS S3 or Backblaze B2, which charge per gigabyte on every restore.
If your server is colocated with us or on Grant County's fiber network, you're accessing storage over local fiber — sub-millisecond latency, full gigabit throughput. Dramatically faster than anything cloud-hosted.
Yes — the storage capacity is shared across both types. If you're on the 1TB plan and want to use 500GB for S3 backups and 500GB as an NFS share, that works. Contact us when you sign up and we'll set up whichever combination you need.
Contact us and we'll provision your credentials and endpoint or share access. The free 100MB tier lets you test your application or backup tool against our API before committing to a paid plan.
Yes. All plans are month-to-month. Upgrade anytime and we'll adjust your capacity immediately. Your data, buckets, credentials, and share paths stay the same.
